Understanding and effectively communicating medical terms, diagnoses, and procedures is a must for legal professionals. In this seminar, Dr. Ettlinger and Dr. Franchetti will discuss common symptoms, diagnoses, treatments and prognoses for injuries such as herniated discs, muscle strains, and shoulder injuries.

Attendees will take a deep dive into how physical injuries are diagnosed, be able to explain the anatomy of muscular injuries and view demonstratives of what the musculoskeletal injury looks like beneath the surface. By the end of this seminar, you will be prepared to confidently use medical terms involving the musculoskeletal system in your next trial.

• Medical terminology and common symptoms and treatments for various injuries
• Basic anatomy including the anatomy of the spine and the levels of severity of spinal injuries
• Prognoses and expected recovery times
• Various treatments such as PT/OT, chiro, electro stim, and when and why these treatments are effective
• When an injury becomes chronic and what, if anything, can be done
