For the very first time, MAJ’s annual Convention expands into a multi-day experience to give attendees more of what matters most: meaningful connection, cutting-edge education, and time to recharge among our community of trial attorneys.
Convention 2027 will feature some of the most innovative minds in the legal field to share strategies that are shaping the future of plaintiff advocacy. Presenters will go beyond theory to examine the real-world tactics that have driven success in high-stakes cases – offering guidance on building high-value claims, strengthening case narratives, and staying ahead in an evolving legal landscape.
Beyond the presentation hall, the extended format creates time for deeper engagement and connection. Attendees will have more opportunities to build their network, exchange ideas, and enjoy extracurricular experiences from golf outings to opportunities to unwind and recharge.
Step away from the day-to-day and invest in professional growth, connect with peers, and return to your practice with sharper skills and a renewed sense of purpose.

Commanding the Courtroom Through Applied Acting Skills
|
|
This interactive workshop is designed to help attorneys strengthen the performance skills that directly impact courtroom effectiveness: voice control, physical presence, and authentic connection. Drawing on techniques rooted in performance training, speakers will demonstrate how intentional delivery can enhance credibility, improve juror engagement, and sharpen overall advocacy. Participants will learn how to adapt these skills to the unique dynamics of the courtroom and professional settings, where clarity, confidence, and persuasion are critical. Through guided breakout sessions, attendees will actively practice and refine their approach in a supportive, hands-on environment. The workshop will conclude with select participants integrating these techniques into a final presentation, offering a practical demonstration of how deliberate performance choices can elevate legal arguments and leave a lasting impression. |
