Criminal Law Section

The Criminal Law Section focuses on the representation of individuals who have been charged with crimes. The Section covers the entire spectrum of the criminal justice system including, but not limited to: federal criminal law, habeas corpus, state felonies and misdemeanors, prisons, sentencing, and pending legislation that affects the criminal justice system.

Section Benefits

Dues are renewable annually, and include an exclusive section list server, exclusive section-only events and discounts to educational programming.

How to Join

Eligibility: All regular MAJ members in good standing who practice criminal defense law and are not associated with, nor employed by a State or Federal prosecutors office. There is an annual $50 section fee.
