New Lawyers Section

The New Lawyers Section (NLS) is dedicated to stimulating the interest and commitment of new lawyers in the objectives and mission of MAJ, as well as to assist members of MAJ in the early stages of their professional careers by ensuring recognition of the needs of new lawyers.  The section works with MAJ to encourage continuing education, increased membership, participation of new lawyers in MAJ activities, and the exchange of information between new lawyers and other experienced MAJ members.

Section Benefits

Dues are renewable annually, and include an exclusive section list server, exclusive section-only events and discounts to educational programming.

How to Join

Eligibility: Membership in the NLS is free. Applicants must be MAJ members in good standing. MAJ-NLS membership is open to lawyers admitted to the practice of law for seven (7) or fewer years or under the age of thirty-five (35).
