Sexual Abuse Section

This new Section will support MAJ members who represent survivors of sexual abuse. The Child Victims Act of 2023 repealed the existing statute of limitations on childhood sexual abuse claims and allows survivors to file lawsuits at any time even if their claims expired under the previous statute of limitation. The new MAJ Sexual Abuse Section will provide a private email list server forum for members to support each other as they work to litigate civil claims on behalf of survivors.

Section Benefits

Dues are renewable annually, and include an exclusive section list server, exclusive section-only document bank, exclusive section-only events and discounts to educational programming.

How to Join

Eligibility: All regular MAJ members in good standing are eligible to apply for membership.  There is an annual $50 section fee.
